Six BH Attorneys Participate in Tax Institute
Six Baker Hostetler attorneys participated in the 52nd Annual Cleveland Tax Institute, hosted by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, held November 4-5, 2009. The event addressed a wide range of tax topics utilizing a traditional panel format and breakout sessions.
Cleveland partner Jeffry Erney was Chair of the event this year, while associate Christina Novotny was Co-Chair of the Arrangements Committee and associate Michael Gall was the Chair of the Publicity Committee.
Jeffrey Paravano, Managing Partner of Baker Hostetler’s Washington, D.C., office, was Chair of the "Current Developments" session, which included Washington, D.C., associate John Lehrer as a panelist. Washington, D.C., partner and firmwide practice team leader for the firm's International Tax Practice Team, Paul Schmidt, was a panelist for the "International Tax: Proposals for Reform and Selected Current Developments" session.
