Elaine A. Hutchins practices principally in the area of commercial real estate development and corporate acquisitions. She has handled the structuring, financing and development of commercial, industrial and retail acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. Ms. Hutchins has served as lead counsel on numerous multi-state, multi-site commercial real estate acquisitions and financings, including securitizations and divestitures. She also serves as acquisition counsel to many public companies. In addition, she has experience as counsel to pension fund and other lenders engaged in real estate based financing.
Ms. Hutchins has extensive experience counseling and advising solid and liquid waste companies on permitting matters and other environmental and acquisition issues.
Ms. Hutchins is the Real Estate Practice Area Coordinator for the Cleveland office of BakerHostetler. She is a member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations.
