Adam Oppenheim has extensive experience representing both businesses and individuals in commercial disputes, securities regulation proceedings, and white collar criminal matters. Mr. Oppenheim has represented clients in state and federal courts, AAA arbitrations, and in administrative proceedings before the SEC, FINRA, and the NASD. His clients come from diverse industries and backgrounds, including finance, securities, textile manufacturing, and public relations.
Mr. Oppenheim’s recent successes include obtaining the dismissal, by order of nolle prosequi, of criminal securities fraud charges brought against a former NYSE specialist in the Southern District of New York.
While attending the Columbia University School of Law, Mr. Oppenheim was a member of the Child Advocacy Clinic, a staff member of the Journal for Law and Social Problems and a Stone Scholar. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Mr. Oppenheim was an associate at a prominent law firm in New York.
