Adam Fletcher focuses his practice on bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He has advised a variety of clients, including the FDIC, the SIPA Trustee in the Bernard Madoff Ponzi scheme, unsecured creditors’ committees, an administrative claimants’ committee and private companies. Mr. Fletcher has experience representing clients on a wide range of issues, including fraudulent transfer actions and other avoidance actions, bankruptcy appellate practice, corporate fiduciary litigation and banking regulation.
During law school, Mr. Fletcher served as Executive Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review, in which his note, “Alternative Liability and Deprivation of Remedy: Teaching Old Tort Law New Tricks,” was published in 2008 (56 Clev. St. L. Rev. 1029 (2008)).
Mr. Fletcher served as an extern to the Honorable Christopher A. Boyko of the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, during the spring of 2009.
Mr. Fletcher is a member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
