Adam Treiber's practice primarily involves patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and foreign clients in the electrical, electro-mechanical and mechanical areas, including, inter alia, communications and networks, computer architecture, software and business methods, electro-mechanical systems and biomedical devices. He advises clients regarding the protection of their intellectual property, including the preparation of patentability, infringement and validity opinions and due diligence studies. His patent litigation experience spans electrical, mechanical and biomedical technologies.
Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Mr. Treiber worked for many years as a systems and software engineer in the aerospace and defense industries around the Washington, D.C., area, specializing in signal processing and controls. He currently chairs the Ethics Panel for the Board of Education of Frederick County (Maryland).
Mr. Treiber is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
