Jeremy Atencio joined Baker Hostetler’s Denver office in 2005 as an associate in the Business Group. Mr. Atencio manages a variety of general business matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Atencio worked as a corporate regulatory and financial strategy manager for Qwest Communications. His experience includes representing the company before the Federal Communications Commission and numerous state regulatory commissions on telecommunications issues.
Mr. Atencio has broad government policy experience, having worked as a policy aide in the Colorado Governor's Office where he focused on transportation, growth, business and environmental matters. Mr. Atencio also provided assistance to the White House for the Summit of the Eight conference hosted in Denver.
Mr. Atencio is a member of the American, Colorado, Denver, Colorado Hispanic and Federal Communications Bar Associations.
