Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com: Fair Finance case deadline extended, Creditors' claims must be received by Oct. 29 to have chance at funds

Cleveland attorney, Joe Esmont, was quoted in an article posted on Ohio.com on September 22, 2010.

The article explains that the Trustee and Bankruptcy Judge overseeing the now bankrupt Akron, Ohio, company have extended the filing deadline for investor claims from October 6 to October 29, 2010, and that people whose claims are not received by the deadline will have almost no chance of getting any of their money back.

Joe Esmont, working with the Trustee, tells the reporter that “claims forms have to be received no later than October 29—creditors cannot wait until the final day to mail the form. No more extensions will be given,” he said.
