Crain’s Cleveland Business highlighted Baker Hostetler Business Partner and Co-Chair of the Transactions Practice Team, Steven Goldberg, in their “Bright Spots” feature for his representation of The E.W. Scripps Company in their $212 million acquisition of all the outstanding shares of McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Co., a subsidiary of The McGraw-Hill Cos.
The deal encompasses a total of nine television stations, four of which are ABC affiliates, and is expected to close in the first half of 2012, when Scripps will become the largest independent operator of ABC television stations in the country.
