Litigation partner Gregory Ulmer was featured in Law 360’s Q&A profile. Ulmer is the national head of the firm’s product liability and toxic tort practice and represents clients in wrongful death, general tort litigation, premises liability and product liability matters.
In the interview Ulmer discussed his most challenging lawsuit, a wrongful death and product liability matter for an international heavy machinery and equipment manufacturer.
Other highlights of the interview included Ulmer’s thorough trial preparation routine, particularly his focus on the details of a case, in addition to which judges keep him on his toes and who he fears competing against in the courtroom.
Most importantly, Ulmer’s interview ended with a piece of advice for young lawyers: “…fancy is not always better. Jurors sense when lawyers are not being genuine, and there is no substitute for the real thing.”
