Employment partner Patrick Muldowney was quoted in the Orlando Business Journal’s human resources and hiring section on June 24, 2011.
When asked what new HR-related laws have affected his profession most, Muldowney responded, “It’s not so much new legislation that’s made an impact, but rather it’s the interpretations of existing laws and how those laws are regulated that have changed and impacted us. Regulatory agencies are showing greater aggression in pursuing employers and litigating cases than they did before.”
Muldowney was the past president for the Central Florida Human Resources Association.
