Orlando Sentinel: Orlando-Based Time-Share Company Island One Seeks Chapter 11

Orlando Bankruptcy partner Elizabeth A. Green was quoted in the September 13, 2010, issue of The Orlando Sentinel.

In an article titled “Orlando-Based Time-Share Company Island One Seeks Chapter 11,” Green was asked to comment about the bankruptcy filing and potential impact on unit owners at the company’s five resorts.

“There should be no affect on owners. The associations will continue to maintain all of the properties,” she said.

Green also confirmed that the company’s largest creditor is Textron Financial Corp., which is owed $100 million.

At Baker Hostetler, Green practices primarily in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights and has represented corporate debtors and secured creditors, unsecured creditors, committees, bondholders and trustees in bankruptcy cases of corporate and individual debtors.
