Baker Hostetler Advises in $3.3B Energy Partnership
In a deal that would create the largest publicly traded energy partnership in the United States, with an enterprise value of more than $26 billion, a Baker Hostetler team consisting of Houston partner Donald Brodsky, Cleveland partner Robert Weible and Houston associate Adam Law represented the Audit, Conflicts and Governance committee of the general partner of Enterprise GP Holdings, L.P.
Enterprise GP is the parent company of the two merging public entities, Enterprise Products Partners L.P. and Teppco Partners, L.P. Enterprise Products will acquire Teppco for $3.3 billion in units, creating a company which will own nearly 48,000 miles of pipeline and 27 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity, and have access to the largest producing basins of natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil in the U.S.
