Baker Hostetler Announces New Partners
CLEVELAND, OH – January 5, 2010 – The national law firm of Baker & Hostetler LLP has announced that eight lawyers associated with the firm have been elected to the Partnership. The new partners are resident in six of the firm’s 11 offices and represent clients in the practice areas of Business, Intellectual Property and Litigation.
New partners in the firm’s Cleveland office:
- Guenther Karl Fanter is a member of the Litigation Group and concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation. He earned his law degree from Harvard Law School in 2002, where he was a member of the Harvard International Law Journal. Fanter earned his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in 1999.
- Eric R. Goodman is a member of the Business Group and concentrates his practice in bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights. He earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002, where he served as Notes Editor of the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform. Goodman earned his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Hope College in 2000.
- Lora M. Reece is a member of the Litigation Group and concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation. She earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002. Reece earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University in 1992.
New partner in the firm’s Columbus office:
- Joseph E. Ezzie is a member of the Litigation Group and concentrates his practice in class action defense and complex commercial litigation. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 2002, where he served as Managing Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. Ezzie earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Miami University in 1999.
New partner in the firm’s Denver office:
- Karin Scholz Jenson is a member of the Litigation Group and concentrates her practice in complex litigation. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2002. Jenson earned her bachelor’s degree from Miami University in 1999.
New partner in the firm’s Houston office:
- Laird M. Doran is a member of the Litigation Group and concentrates his practice in technology, franchise and trade-related litigation. He earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2001, where he served as a member of the Texas International Law Journal. Doran earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas in 1998.
New partner in the firm’s New York office:
- Benjamin D. Pergament is a member of the Litigation Group and concentrates his practice in the areas of contract disputes, securities, class actions and product liability. He earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999. Pergament earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1995.
New partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office:
- A. Neal Seth is a member of the Intellectual Property Group and concentrates his practice in patent litigation. He is a Vice President on the Executive Committee of the North American South Asian Bar Association. Seth earned his law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2001. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1998.
