Baker Hostetler Expands Mergers & Acquisitions Team with Addition of Partner Jon Cramer
NEW YORK, NY – May 27, 2009 – Baker Hostetler announced today the expansion of its Business Group's Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Securities practices with the addition of partner Jon Cramer. Mr. Cramer, who was most recently a partner with Ropes & Gray, is resident in Baker Hostetler's New York Office.
Mr. Cramer's practice focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, representing domestic and foreign buyers and sellers, and private equity groups. He also has extensive experience representing issuers and underwriters in the public offering and private placement of debt and equity securities, and advises public companies on corporate governance issues, periodic filing requirements and the mandates of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Mr. Cramer also has broad experience in the technology sector, representing companies in the semiconductor and software industries both inside and outside the United States, the retail sector, as well as experience in the entertainment industry having most recently represented the buyer of a substantial music catalogue. He also has experience structuring business development companies, master limited partnerships, joint ventures and collective investment vehicles.
