Bradley K. Jones

Brad Jones has assisted clients in a variety of litigation matters in state court, federal court and arbitration, including complex commercial litigation, business torts, age and gender discrimination, products liability, toxic torts, malpractice and premise liability.

Mr. Jones’ experience includes successfully representing a computer software manufacturer in breach of contract claims; pursuing claims against competitors for libel, business disparagement and tortious interference with contracts; and defending allegations of breach of contract, breach of warranty and fraud. Mr. Jones also has experience in insurance defense and serves as local counsel for flood insurance carriers.

During law school, Mr. Jones served as an intern for the Honorable Mary Milloy, United States Magistrate Judge, Southern District of Texas, and studied EU law at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. He was also involved in moot court, a member of Phi Delta Phi and an associate editor of Corporate Counsel Review, published by the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Texas.

While studying government at the University of Texas, Mr. Jones was active in state politics and interned for Senator Chris Harris and the Tort Litigation Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. Mr. Jones maintains an active interest in politics and was a Research & Policy Fellow on the Bill White for Texas campaign.

Mr. Jones’ publications include “Pleading Standards in Delaware Breach of Corporate Fiduciary Duty Claims: Notice Trumps Specificity,” (ST. B. SEC. NEWSL., CORP. COUN., Austin, TX), Summer 2006, at 24.
