Brian Carney works on a variety of litigation matters in connection with Baker Hostetler’s role as counsel to the court-appointed Trustee under SIPA in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Mr. Carney worked as a law clerk at a large insurance firm, assisting in litigation related to the defense of the company’s policyholders. He also worked as an extern for Federal Judge Christopher Boyko of the Northern District of Ohio.
Mr. Carney is a member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations.
