Brittany Sakowitz joined the Houston office of Baker Hostetler in May 2011. She practices in the areas of general corporate and securities law, with a focus on energy transactions, commercial contracts, mergers and reorganizations, the acquisition and disposition of assets and other business-related matters.
During law school, Ms. Sakowitz served as an Editor of the Houston Journal of International Law, earning an award for Outstanding Comment on a Topic in International Law for her article on import and export legislation. During business school, Ms. Sakowitz earned the Dean’s Award, Energy Investment Analysis Certificate and the Energy Accounting and Finance Certificate.
