Carrie Tuttle Wells works on a variety of litigation matters related to Baker Hostetler’s representation of the court-appointed trustee in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC under the Securities Investor Protection Act.
During law school, Ms. Wells worked in the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic on civil matters concerning predatory lending practices, foreclosure and immigration. She also participated as a member of Case Western Reserve’s Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial team, which placed first in regional competition in 2010. She was awarded the William E. Davis prize for her participation in mock trial and holds a certificate of concentration in litigation.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Wells taught history in the United States and in Australia. She wrote curriculum for the State of Ohio and served as a program manager for a multistate online education and production company.
