Costa Mesa partner Kevin Colton and Columbus partner Elizabeth McNellie were invited to address the National Association of Motor Vehicle Boards and Commissions' 2009 Fall Workshop, held October 3-7, 2009, in Charleston, South Carolina.
Colton and McNellie spoke on the topic, "How Factory/Dealer/Government Relations Have Been Impacted Due to the Changed Economic Environment." Colton represents and regularly counsels more than fifteen of North America's major manufacturers and distributors of motor vehicles in all aspects of their commercial relationships with their authorized dealers. McNellie serves as counsel for a number of manufacturers, both foreign and domestic, that are subject to motor vehicle franchise statutes, including manufacturers of automobiles, light and heavy duty trucks, motorcycles, ambulances, buses and horse trailers.
