authored, “Bad for Business: Ohio’s Statute of Limitations for Written Contracts.” The article focuses on Ohio’s 15-year statute of limitations for breach of a written contract. According to the authors, compared to other state statutes, the law in Ohio is antiquated and a threat to companies doing business in the state. Beyond adding tremendous costs to businesses, the authors argue that allowing suits on outdated claims makes the cases difficult and unfair to defend and increases the burden on an already over-taxed court system in Ohio.
