Washington, D.C., partner Barry Cutler was recently invited to address the prestigious National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), which comprises 21 of the preeminent cancer treatment centers in the United States, including Sloan Kettering, M.D. Anderson, Massachusetts General, Dana Farber, St. Jude's, and Johns Hopkins, among others.
Cutler, who was Director of the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection from 1990 to 1993, discussed "Advertising Cancer Treatment Services," which was sparked by a critical article about such advertising in the New York Times in December 2009.
