David Bright

Mr. Bright is a technical advisor in Baker Hostetler’s Washington, D.C., office. He assists with preparation and prosecution of patent applications.

As a senior electrical engineer with over 20 years experience as a contractor designing and evaluating electronic apparatus for NASA and the Department of Defense, Mr. Bright has developed systems, controls, sensors, human interfaces, and communications devices. His experience includes such areas as fiber optics, RF equipment, and DC power equipment, using technologies that include through-hole and surface mount ICs, discrete devices, hybrid production, and packaging at several levels of integration.

Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Mr. Bright was a Chief Engineer at Jackson and Tull, Chartered Engineers, where he supported the Hubble Space Telescope program. Mr. Bright previously worked on towed array sonar, buoy control systems, and other programs for the U.S. Navy and Army at Martin Marietta and other defense contractors.
