David G. Holcombe
In addition to serving as Partner-In-Charge of the Cincinnati office, David G. Holcombe practices in the full range of aspects of employment law and employment relations, including counseling on employment policies and procedures, training supervisors and managers, representing employers in NLRB and other administrative agency proceedings, defending employment discrimination claims, representing employers in arbitrations and other forms of alternate dispute resolution, responding to union organizational activities, advising and representing employers in labor contract negotiations and labor contract administration and handling employment-at-will matters.
Mr. Holcombe’s area of primary emphasis is representing Baker Hostetler’s clients in employment-related litigation, including defending Section 301, Title VII, ADEA, ADA, ERISA and wrongful discharge claims in federal and state courts throughout the United States at both trial and appellate levels. Mr. Holcombe also has assisted a number of the firm’s clients in reviewing employment policies, practices, manuals and handbooks and ensuring that they are in compliance with federal and state law.
Mr. Holcombe is an Ohio State Bar Association Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment law. Mr. Holcombe is recognized as a 2010 BTI Client Service All-Star for providing exceptional client service and maintains an AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a member of the American, Ohio State and Cincinnati Bar Associations.
