David L. Evans, Jr.

David Evans practices real estate law, counseling clients in matters related to property acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing, commercial and residential condominium formation and operation, development, land-use and permitting, finance, and development and re-development of a wide range of property and project types, including commercial, hospitality, industrial, mixed-use, residential and retail properties and projects.

Mr. Evans has substantial experience representing an international hospitality company in the acquisition, development, operation, permitting and sale of units in resort residential communities in the Central Florida tourist corridor. In addition to representing this company in real estate matters, Mr. Evans has assisted the company with its entry into and establishment of a physical presence in the U.S. and has coordinated many non-real estate-related legal matters for the company, including immigration, labor and employment and litigation matters.

Mr. Evans’ extensive experience also encompasses drafting and negotiating complex declarations and other governing documents for commercial, mixed-use and residential projects for a FORTUNE 100 company and other clients. Additionally, Mr. Evans assists clients with the subsequent implementation of and operation under the terms and conditions of such governing documents to ensure compliance by all parties governed thereby.

In his practice, Mr. Evans maintains a special emphasis on commercial leasing transactions, including the representation of landlords and tenants in traditional office, condominium office, ground, industrial and retail leasing matters. In particular, Mr. Evans has experience representing the owners of numerous office buildings and towers in the downtown Orlando marketplace.

Mr. Evans is active in the Central Florida real estate and civic communities and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Public Affairs Committee of the NAIOP, Central Florida Chapter. He also serves as a member of the Banquet Committee for the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida, Orlando Chapter, and has previously chaired the Banquet Committee.

Mr. Evans is a member of the Florida Bar Association.
