Diane L. Feigi is responsible for defending several corporations in complex asbestos litigation involving product liability, premises liability, and supplier liability cases pending in Ohio. Ms. Feigi assists in the litigation of more than 30,000 asbestos cases from the initial stages of answering complaints to the discovery phase to the final stages of trial, dismissal, or settlement. Ms. Feigi has also served as defense coordinating counsel, and as such was responsible for arranging group efforts to conduct discovery, obtain expert reports, and negotiate case management orders.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Feigi was associated with a firm that serves as national counsel in the defense of a steel conglomerate in complex multi-jurisdictional asbestos litigation involving product and premises liability. Her responsibilities included supervising local counsel in preparing consistent discovery nationwide and supervising local counsel in the litigation of cases in West Virginia, Louisiana, Minnesota, and California.
Ms. Feigi has also practiced in the areas of insurance defense, including coverage matters, as well as domestic relations and plaintiffs' personal injury cases. She has also represented many Social Security Disability claimants.
Ms. Feigi is a member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. Ms. Feigi is a member of Council for the Dover Congregational United Church of Christ.
