Drew Dorner handles litigation, investigatory and bankruptcy matters in connection with Baker Hostetler’s role as counsel to the court-appointed Trustee under the Securities Investment Protection Act (SIPA) in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dorner worked as an intern for The Honorable Juliet Griffin, a federal magistrate judge for the Middle District of Tennessee, and as a law clerk for a commercial litigation law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio.During law school, Mr. Dorner was a member of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, where he served as an Authorities Editor. He was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship and was awarded a Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Award for first honors in Property Law. Mr. Dorner served on the Vanderbilt Moot Court Board and was the head coach of Vanderbilt’s undergraduate mock trial team.
Mr. Dorner is a member of the American, Ohio State, Columbus and Nashville Bar Associations.
