Eric Kristiansen’s diverse commercial practice areas include complex commercial litigation and arbitration, oil and gas litigation, construction defect cases and real property disputes. His commercial clients come from a variety of backgrounds, from oil and gas companies to retail electrical providers, large commercial banks and small business owners. Mr. Kristiansen has tried cases ranging from surface damage disputes (resulting from oil and gas operations) to breach of contract disputes (related to the delivery of defective products).
In addition to his commercial practice, Mr. Kristiansen handles the defense of personal injury matters, including cases involving premises and product liability, the FELA and toxic torts. He frequently advises clients regarding incident investigations, safety policies and procedures, and has conducted seminars for his clients on those subjects. Representative clients include oil and gas companies, oilfield service companies and chemical companies.
Mr. Kristiansen has been named a “Texas Rising Star” in Litigation by Texas Monthly magazine each year since 2005.
When he is not spending time with his wife and three beautiful daughters, Mr. Kristiansen runs a competitive intramural soccer team.
