ITCB Threads: Rags to Riches to Rags? Textile Trade Policy in the U.S. After the Quotas

Washington, D.C., partner Elliot Feldman, leader of Baker Hostetler's international trade practice and an author of the firm's China-U.S. Trade Law blog, was invited to be the keynote speaker at the annual meeting of the Private Sector Consulting Committee of the International Clothing and Textile Bureau (ITCB), held in Geneva, Switzerland in November 2009.

An abridged version of his presentation at the meeting was published in the January 2010 edition of ITCB's Threads newsletter, under the title, "Rags to Riches to Rags? Textile Trade Policy in the U.S. After the Quotas." Click here for the full version of Feldman's presentation.

The ITCB is an intergovernmental organization of developing countries, exporters of textiles and clothing. It is unique in the sense that it is the only international organization exclusively of developing countries, managed and financed solely by them.
