Five BH Attorneys Address Tax Institute

Five attorneys addressed the 51st Annual Cleveland Tax Institute, hosted by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, held October 29-30, 2008. The event addressed a wide range of tax topics utilizing a traditional panel format and breakout sessions.

Partner and Firmwide Chair of Baker Hostetler's Tax Group Jeff Paravano was Chair of the "Current Developments" panel, which included Washington, D.C., associate John Lehrer as a panelist.

Cleveland partner Jeffry Erney was Chair for the "Handling Cases at Exams and Appeals" panel, while Washington, D.C., partner and firmwide practice team leader for the firm's International Tax Practice Team, Paul Schmidt, was a panelist for the "International Tax/Domestic Manufacturer's Deduction" breakout session and Cleveland partner William Toomajian addressed the "Executive Compensation Strategies" session.
