Gregory R. Flax
Greg Flax maintains a varied litigation practice, with an emphasis on environmental litigation, complex commercial litigation, appellate litigation and class action defense. Mr. Flax has been involved in litigation at the trial and appellate levels, and in addition has represented clients in administrative proceedings and in arbitration. Mr. Flax represents clients in the agricultural, banking, computer software, healthcare, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors.
Mr. Flax has a special interest in agricultural law issues. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Flax managed a large family farm in Clark County, Ohio, and served as a leader in a number of agricultural organizations.
Mr. Flax’s recent experiences include:
- Obtaining a favorable result for a client in a case that he briefed and argued before the Franklin County (10th District) Court of Appeals;
- Authoring an amicus brief for two agricultural trade groups, in support of a product labeling rule that was challenged on Constitutional grounds; and
- Representing an industrial client in a proceeding before the Ohio Environmental Review Appeals Commission.
Mr. Flax is a member of the American, Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations.
