James H. Rollinson

Jamie Rollinson has nearly 15 years experience as a trial lawyer and focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. Mr. Rollinson has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of disputes in both federal and state courts and has been involved as first or second chair counsel in more than 15 trials, many of which were tried to a jury. In addition to handling matters in trial and appellate courts, Mr. Rollinson has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Rollinson has represented large and small companies in a variety of commercial disputes. His clients have included large retailers, chemical manufacturers, real estate developers, property managers, technical service providers, industrial equipment manufacturers and healthcare service providers. Mr. Rollinson’s experience also includes representing clients in bankruptcy matters, as well as divorce proceedings. Mr. Rollinson strives to find novel arguments and creative solutions to difficult issues in order to achieve the best results for his clients.

For the past two years, Mr. Rollinson has been actively involved in BakerHostetler’s representation of the SIPA Trustee in the liquidation of the business of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. In that representation, he has led a team of attorneys in investigating Bernard Madoff’s fraud and has worked closely with a range of experts, interviewed numerous witnesses, developed evidence relating to the fraud and coordinated efforts to recover funds for victims of the fraud.

Prior to joining BakerHostetler in 2005, Mr. Rollinson gained substantial trial experience first as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan, New York, and then at Todd & Weld LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. As a prosecutor, Mr. Rollinson was involved in all aspects of the prosecution of crimes and tried many jury cases.
