Jason Perdion concentrates his practice on environmental law and litigation. He has worked on state and federal environmental proceedings and matters pending before administrative agencies such as the Environmental Review Appeals Commission.
These matters have involved environmental counseling under various federal and state environmental laws including the Clean Air Act, the Toxic Substances and Control Act, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Mr. Perdion has also assisted in environmentally-related products liability litigation.
Mr. Perdion has worked to develop and plan environmental assessments and remediation alternatives at environmentally contaminated sites and responses to Superfund information requests. He has also assisted in the transfer of solid waste and other environmental permits on a multistate $500 million asset transfer. In addition, he has participated in real estate transfers involving environmental due diligence.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Perdion was employed by the University of Tennessee providing on-site technical support for Air Force Material Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He was responsible for providing guidance for the Command’s hazardous waste management program. Mr. Perdion participated in developing Command-wide standard operating procedures aimed at reducing the violations of hazardous waste regulations throughout the Command.
