Jerry R. Linscott

Jerry R. Linscott is a partner concentrating in business litigation, including securities, corporate and contract cases, complex case litigation, business torts, class action litigation, and qui tam litigation.

Mr. Linscott has experience representing clients in a variety of industries including newspaper, television, pharmaceutical supply, entertainment, bio-technology, cable communications, insurance, public utilities, and retirement housing.

He has successfully prosecuted and defended actions in state and federal courts throughout Florida in matters dealing with the public sale of securities, insurance coverage, tortious interference, securities litigation, tax litigation, trade secrets, premises liability, enforcement of franchising and distributorship agreements, employment agreements, anti-trust, and many other subjects. He has appeared in courtrooms throughout the Southeast and the Midwest.

Mr. Linscott has also been involved in numerous reorganization/workouts of adult congregate living facilities involving publicly issued bonds valued in excess of $250 million. In connection with these matters, Mr. Linscott handled and supervised all aspects of the cases, including securities litigation, healthcare and certificate of need issues, bankruptcy, and corporate matters.

Mr. Linscott has lectured extensively to members of the accounting profession on corporate and securities litigation issues.
