Jessie Gabriel’s practice focuses primarily on complex business litigation, including class actions and antitrust litigation.
Prior to joining BakerHostetler, Ms. Gabriel was a litigation associate with a major New York law firm. During her tenure, she was involved in litigation relating to securities fraud and antitrust, as well as breach of fiduciary duty, New York state constitutionality, copyright law and criminal appeals. She also served as a legal intern for the Midwest Center for Justice where she drafted habeas petitions on behalf of death row inmates in Illinois, Indiana and Alabama.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Gabriel worked as a research assistant at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where she focused on the Federal Reserve, and at Nathan Associates, Inc., where she provided economic consulting services in antidumping and antitrust litigations.
While attending law school, Ms. Gabriel served as Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law, and was the Campbell Moot Court Champion in 2003-04. In connection with her minor in Italian at Dartmouth College, Ms. Gabriel studied the language in Siena, Italy. She is proficient in Italian.
Ms. Gabriel is a member of the American, Ohio, New York and Columbus Bar Associations.
