Jonathan Langer’s practice encompasses business and real estate matters, focusing on hospitality, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and real estate development. He is a regular contributor to Baker Hostetler’s HospitalityLawg, which offers commentary and opinions on hospitality industry issues, trends, challenges and news.
Mr. Langer has a strong and diverse background in the business matters and policy issues surrounding land use and real estate development in the Rocky Mountain West. Prior to law school he worked in residential real estate, focusing on sales and marketing as a licensed broker for a Denver area real estate development firm. He also worked on climate change policy, endangered species issues and public lands management at the Natural Resources Defense Council.
During law school, Mr. Langer served as the University of Colorado Law Review Symposium Chair, organizing “Elevate 2009: Climate Change and the New Frontiers of Urban Development.” As an undergraduate, Mr. Langer earned honors for his thesis work on resource and land development in late 19th century Colorado.
Mr. Langer is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations.
