Following two summer clerkships with the firm’s Orlando office, Jorge Castillo joined BakerHostetler in September of 2006. Mr. Castillo has prosecuted and defended complex commercial litigation cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts involving: construction and property disputes, including defective construction, construction lien, prescriptive easement, and landlord-tenant claims; torts, including products and premises liability; federal securities (Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934) class action; and breach of contract and fiduciary duty cases in a variety of business contexts.
