Kathryn M. Zunno

Katie Zunno is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group and focuses her practice on general commercial, white collar and securities litigation in both state and federal courts. Ms. Zunno is currently involved in representing Irving H. Picard, Trustee for the SIPA liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, in connection with Baker Hostetler’s role as counsel.

Ms. Zunno has experience litigating a wide variety of matters, including commercial breaches of contract, securities class actions, nationwide arbitrations and other business-related disputes. Ms. Zunno has also dedicated hundreds of hours to pro bono service, representing a capital defendant in obtaining federal habeas corpus relief, as well as low-income clients in various housing, social security and family law matters.

Before joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Zunno was an associate at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she engaged in a broad-based litigation practice that included defending an international media corporation in a federal securities fraud jury trial and representing a corporate debtor in one of the largest bankruptcies in history.

Ms. Zunno graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served on the Executive Board of the St. John’s Law Review as Executive Notes and Comments Editor. During law school, Ms. Zunno also completed federal internships with the Honorable Joanna Seybert of the Eastern District of New York and the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of New York.
