Kelli Murray is responsible for handling a variety of matters, including commercial contract, property and other business-related disputes in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group. In that capacity, Ms. Murray is a member of the Orlando legal team working for the SIPA Trustee on the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
Kelli’s practice also includes an emphasis on family and marital law matters involving dissolution of marriage, alimony, child support, timesharing, constitutional rights of parents and children and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
Kelli is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she graduated with honors with a dual degree in Finance and Economics. While at the University of Florida, Kelli received numerous awards and recognitions and was involved in various student organizations and leadership honoraries, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Florida Cicerones, Florida Blue Key, Student Government and the Women’s Leadership Council. Based on her extracurricular involvement, commitment to the community and academic success, she was inducted into both the Warrington College of Business Hall of Fame and The University of Florida Hall of Fame and, upon graduation, was named Outstanding Student Leader.
Kelli continued her education at The Florida State University College of Law, where she graduated with honors and received an award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service. During law school, Kelli interned at the Florida Commission on Human Relations and served as competition chair of Florida State University’s Mock Trial Team, where she competed both regionally and nationally. She was a summer associate for two summers at Baker Hostetler’s Orlando office.
Kelli believes in being an active corporate citizen. She has been a volunteer with the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership organization since 2000, serving in various capacities such as the 2009 and 2010 Volunteer Leadership Seminar Chair for the South Florida seminar and currently serving on the volunteer board for the Mid-Florida seminar. Kelli is also actively involved with the American Red Cross Mid-FL Region, Central Florida Chapter, Rejoice in the Lord Ministries, the Central Florida Urban League Young Professionals, and handles several pro bono matters for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. Kelli is actively involved in the George C. Young American Inns of Court, the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and serves on several committees of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar Association.
