Kenneth C. Wright

Kenneth Wright has been a practitioner in securities, finance and transactional matters for more than 28 years. His practice encompasses transaction structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, public and private offerings of securities, structured finance and international financings and transactions. Mr. Wright has served as lead counsel in many complex and substantial acquisitions, dispositions, mergers and financings.

Mr. Wright’s practice includes public and private entities in the United States and in foreign jurisdictions (including China). He has represented clients in the areas of financial services, investment fund formation and management, communications, technology, power and energy (including renewable energy), real estate, vehicle dealerships, agriculture, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare (including large medical practices), tax-exempt organizations and resort and timeshare development.

Mr. Wright is immediate past Chairman of the Board of the Florida Opportunity Fund, funded by (i) the Florida legislature to invest in seed capital and early stage venture capital funds that agree to invest in Florida and (ii) the Florida Energy and Climate Commission to invest in Florida businesses to increase the use of energy efficient and renewable energy technologies, equipment and materials.

Mr. Wright is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (limited to 1/3 of 1% of all ABA members) and past Chair of the American Bar Association’s Special Investors and Investment Structures Group (which includes substantive committees on Pension Plan Investments, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Life Insurance Company Investments, Real Estate Investment Funds, International Investments in Real Estate and Federal Taxation of Real Estate).  Mr. Wright is also a Red Book listed Bond Lawyer.

Mr. Wright holds a Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating of “AV” (highest possible for professional competence and ethics).

Mr. Wright has served on numerous Community and Charitable Boards and their Executive Committees, including The Florida Chamber, The Rollins College China Center, The Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross of Central Florida, The Southeast Resource Council of the American Red Cross, Junior Achievement of Central Florida, World Trade Center Orlando, The Harmony Institute, The Harmony Charter School and The Winter Park Racquet Club.  Mr. Wright is also a Trustee of the Trinity Preparatory School, Winter Park, Florida.

Mr. Wright is a frequent speaker and international business traveler.
