Krista A. Sivick

Krista Sivick joined Baker Hostetler in 2008. Ms. Sivick focuses her practice on federal and state litigation, primarily defending mid- to large-sized companies in actions involving contractual disputes, tortious interference with business relationships and similar commercial actions. Ms. Sivick also has experience in state and federal appeals. Ms. Sivick has successfully represented clients from a variety of industries, including the banking and construction industries. She also handles family law matters, including dissolution of marriage and custody actions.

While in law school at the Florida State University College of Law, Ms. Sivick interned for Chief Judge Edwin B. Browning of the First District Court of Appeal. As an intern, Ms. Sivick drafted orders and made recommendations in appellate cases sounding in tort, contract, criminal law, family law and civil rights. Ms. Sivick distinguished herself in law school as a member of the Florida State University Law Review, the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law and the Moot Court team. As a member of the Moot Court team, her excellent writing and oral advocacy skills were recognized when she was chosen as a Final Four finalist to argue a case before the Florida Supreme Court during the 2006 Final Four Competition. Ms. Sivick also spent a summer abroad studying law at the esteemed Oxford University. Prior to law school, Ms. Sivick played Division I softball for the University of Hartford.

Ms. Sivick is admitted to the Florida Bar and the Middle District of Florida and is a member of the Federal Bar Association. In addition to her professional activities, Ms. Sivick has committed herself to charitable causes, including volunteer work and fundraising for the Steven G. Gey Foundation, ALS-TDI and the ALS Association, organizations dedicated to the treatment and cure of ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
