Kristopher Armstrong has a varied practice, encompassing employment litigation, employment counseling, and general litigation. Mr. Armstrong has been involved in litigation at the trial, appellate and state supreme court levels. In addition, he has experience litigating contested issues before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the civil rights commissions of numerous other states, and the Ohio Motor Vehicle Dealers' Board. He also has experience with all aspects of arbitration, from brief writing to full evidentiary hearings. In addition, Mr. Armstrong counsels clients regarding compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination laws, wage-and-hour issues, Ohio ethics laws governing public officials and various state laws governing responses to breaches of data privacy. After beginning his career as a summer associate with Baker Hostetler, Mr. Armstrong spent two years as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David A. Katz of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. During law school, Mr. Armstrong was a Managing Editor of the Ohio State Law Journal. He was the second-place recipient of the Strong Award for Legal Writing and earned CALI Awards for Excellence in Professional Responsibility, Employment Discrimination, Property and Legal Writing.
