David Holcombe, Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Cincinnati office, was quoted in the January 26, 2010, Law360 article, "In-House Counsel Name Favorite Employment Lawyers."
The article focuses on The BTI Consulting Group's recent report in which more than 240 corporate counsel from large and Fortune 1000 companies identified 165 attorneys from 112 firms as top providers of client services—"Client Service All-Stars 2010." Holcombe was one of the attorneys specializing in employment law and employee relations who was recognized as a client service leader in the recent BTI survey. Additionally, Baker Hostetler attorneys Harlan Robins and Lee Simowitz were named also named All-Stars in commercial real estate and general business law, and antitrust and trade regulation, respectively. According to the article, many Client Service All-Stars stressed that no lawyer achieves excellent client services all alone, and that law firms must do their part by valuing and supporting individual attorneys' client services efforts. And when in doubt on client services issues, go back to basics. "You really can't go wrong by giving clients the service and value that you seek in your own relationships," said Holcombe.
