Lawrence Lindberg concentrates his practice on real estate law, with special emphasis in all matters pertaining to real estate development, leasing, construction and financing.
He has represented clients in a broad range of real estate activities including national tenant leasing; affordable housing and low income housing tax credit projects; hotel development, acquisition, and sales; residential subdivision development, construction, and sales; residential and commercial condominium development, construction, sales, and management; multifamily apartment development and leasing; shopping center development, construction, and leasing; renovation of historic office and apartment buildings and hotel properties; and acquisition and construction of manufacturing, warehousing, and industrial facilities.
He also represents financial institutions on an ongoing basis in connection with the financing of a broad range of real estate development activities and in workouts of troubled loans.
Mr. Lindberg has several subpractices. These include construction law (construction contract matters, architects' agreements and mechanics' liens), real property taxation and exemption, environmental aspects of real estate development, as well as the particular real estate aspects of radio and television broadcast operations.
Mr. Lindberg is a member of the Ohio, Cuyahoga County and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. He has also served on the CMBA's Real Estate Institute Committee which presents an annual two-day seminar on real estate law and has spoken extensively on construction law and leasing.
