Lindsey D’Andrea is responsible for a variety of matters, with a special emphasis on litigation and labor and employment matters. She has experience ranging from complex litigation to counseling management clients regarding disputes and employment issues.
Currently, Ms. D’Andrea is a member of the team of lawyers assisting the court-appointed trustee in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. In this role, she has engaged in extensive pre-trial litigation matters, including document reviews, fact investigations and pre-trial depositions, as well as the drafting of various motions and briefs.
Beyond her complex litigation experience, Ms. D’Andrea handles a number of employment litigation matters defending various companies from employee claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, among others. For these matters, she has engaged in extensive motion practice, ranging from the drafting of position statements, motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment. In addition, Ms. D’Andrea is involved in a number of traditional labor matters, including preparing for collective bargaining negotiations and the drafting of post-hearing arbitration briefs.
While attending law school, Ms. D’Andrea served as an extern for the Honorable John D. Holschuh, Senior United States District Judge for the Southern District of Ohio. Also during law school, she was honored with the Ohio State Bar Association’s Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law.
Ms. D’Andrea is a member of the Columbus, Ohio State and American Bar Associations, as well as the Women Lawyers of Franklin County.
