Lisa Pair joined the Houston office of BakerHostetler in June 2010 and practices in the Litigation Group. Ms. Pair has assisted clients on various litigation matters in state and federal court and state administrative proceedings, including manufacturer franchise disputes, insurance disputes and product liability.
Before joining BakerHostetler, Ms. Pair’s work focused on representing individuals in the criminal justice system. Prior to that work, she drafted memorandums and briefs focusing on defective medical devices, medical malpractice and DTPA-related matters and analyzed the Federal Tort Claims Act for its effect on medical malpractice claims.
While in law school, Ms. Pair clerked at several law firms assisting individuals in product liability, commercial property and consumer law matters. She also served as an extern at the Office of Regional Counsel, Veterans Affairs, where she assisted the U.S. government in defending against medical malpractice claims. During law school, Ms. Pair served as Vice President of the Health Law Society.
Ms. Pair is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
