Lyndie James practices predominantly in the area of environmental law, with a particular focus on the management of environmental risks and liabilities, compliance with a broad range of environmental regulatory programs and management of environmental due diligence in connection with the sale and redevelopment of commercial and industrial property. Lyndie’s practice also includes general real estate and corporate transactions, including property acquisitions and sales, corporate formation and governance, commercial leasing, development and permitting.
While in law school, Lyndie concentrated her course work in the areas of environmental and land use law. She actively participated in the Public Interest Environmental Conference (PIEC), which is the largest student-run public interest conference in the country, acting as the Logistics Coordinator (PIEC 2008) and as a Panel Assistant on the “Low-Impact Development” panel (PIEC 2007). Lyndie also participated in the Conservation Clinic and the externship program at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, externing for the legal department at the Florida Chapter of The Nature Conservancy during the summer of 2007.
