Mary M. Bittence
Mary M. Bittence has had experience in matters relating to products liability, construction disputes, U.C.C. litigation, employment discrimination and general commercial matters. Her special emphasis is in the area of drug product and medical device liability, representing pharmaceutical companies on a regional basis. Ms. Bittence participated in a multimillion-dollar drug products liability case that set precedent in Ohio law for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Her background also includes defense of medical malpractice cases.
Ms. Bittence also has extensive experience in environmental litigation. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in cost recovery actions under CERCLA. Her work includes negotiating with state and federal agencies in Superfund situations and representing clients before various environmental agencies.
