McDonald Addresses Council on Foreign Relations

Washington, D.C., partner Tom McDonald, who heads the firm's Government Policy Practice Group and was U.S. Ambassador to Zimbabwe from 1997-2001, was invited by the Council on Foreign Relations to address its membership in an April 17, 2009, program, "Zimbabwe in Crisis."

McDonald, along with Walter H. Kansteiner, Former Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, U.S. Department of State, and Reed Kramer, CEO, AllAfrica Global Media, discussed Zimbabwe's current political and economic situation, and prospects for the country's future, including the recent multibillion-dollar economic recovery plan put forward by its new unity government.
