McDonald to Lead Panel on International Trade

Washington, D.C., partner Tom McDonald, who heads the firm's Government Policy Practice Group and was U.S. Ambassador to Zimbabwe from 1997-2001, will moderate the keynote panel presentation at the 4th Annual International Trade Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 22, 2009. The conference will focus on strategies for selling to the Middle East and North Africa.

Amb. McDonald’s presentation will cover corporate considerations in the Middle East and North Africa, with a particular emphasis on legal issues. In addition to Amb. McDonald, trade experts from the U.S. Department of Commerce, office of the United States Trade Representative, Procter & Gamble, FedEx, Ex-Im Bank, U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Council, Small Business Association and Xavier University will also give presentations at the conference. The day's events are designed to equip attendee with the tools needed to capitalize on opportunities in the growing Middle East and North Africa markets.

The conference will run from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and will be held at the Cintas Center. A networking reception will be held in conjunction with the conference on the evening of October 21 (also at the Cintas Center).
