Michael P. Glasser focuses his practice on general corporate matters for both private and public companies. Mr. Glasser assists clients in a wide range of corporate transactions, including corporate formation, organization and governance, acquisition and diposition of assets and stock, service agreements and other business agreements.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Mr. Glasser was an associate with Thacher Proffitt & Wood, where his practice focused on securitizations of residential mortgage-backed securities. Mr. Glasser spent his first year as an attorney at a prominent New Jersey firm where he represented companies in their general corporate matters.
During law school, Mr. Glasser was the Editor-in-Chief of the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal, in which his student note, "To Clean or Not to Clean: An Analysis of the Copyright and Trademark Issues Surrounding the Legal Battle Between Third Party Film Editors and the Film Industry," was published. He also had the distinct honor of serving as the student speaker at his 2004 law school commencement ceremony.
